Final Fantasy XIII Release Date, Final Fantasy 13 United States Release

The up coming release of Final Fantasy XIII on March 9, 2010, has many people excited here in the US! This game looks to be ground breaking for the guys at Square Enix. Final Fantasy XIII looks like it is taken in a completely different direction than they have ever gone in the past.

One of the main differences that you may notice just from watching the previews and trailers online is that you will be able to see all the enemies on the battle fields before you run into them. In all the final Fantasy games prior, you would just be waling along and then all of the sudden you would be thrown into a battle. Now you can see the enemies out there and can chose to go up and battle them, or steer clear of them. This will definitely come in handy when you are low on life or need to get somewhere real quick and don’t want to bother with fighting people every 10 steps. I got to say I am really excited about this! I hated when I was just trying to get somewhere and I had to battle people every 20 seconds. It took forever to get where you were trying to go.

I am real excited to see what other new feature there will be in the new game also. I just hope that they didn’t try to over do it and make it too complicated for the gamers.

And I sure hope that it is nothing like the online version of Final Fantasy XI that came out a few years back. That was the worst game and online experience that I have ever had.

As long as they steer clear of that and keep it more like Final Fanasy X, I will be happy!

Until then, post some comments on any new features or anything that you hear the game may have for us to read about!

Recharge Shields Instantly in Halo 3, Halo 3 Shield Glitch, Instant Over Shield

Alright… once again I have come across some ridiculous glitch in halo 3. It’s either a glitch or some one cheating, either way it was ridiculous, and unlike anything i have ever seen before in the game.

I was playing a game of Team Slayer on the Pit, We were getting out asses kicked and I couldn’t figure out why.  About half way through the game I come across one of the opponents, he doesn’t see me coming, so I through a frag grenade right under his feet, and start shooting him. Usually they die almost instantly with this combo… but not this time! To my amazement, his shields started regenerating immediately after the grenade blew up under him, and he was able to kill me with no problem. Not only did I see this but two of my other teammates witnessed it, and were also shooting at him, but it wasn’t enough to kill him.

After the game the guy that performed the halo 3 cheat, was saying how it was some glitch in halo 3 where you can regenerate your shields, or get an instant over shield or something.  Has anyone heard of this? Using an instant over shield in Halo 3, or regenerating your shield at will while playing online?

When i Slowed the video down in the theater after the game, i noticed that the guy dropped an over shield and picked it up. HOW THE HELL DO YOU DO THAT!?!? We had 3 guys all blasting this one guy with battle riffles and we couldn’t take him down. Below re a couple of screen shots of my grenade blowing up under him, then him dropping an over shield and picking it up. Any one that plays Hlo 3 know that there is no way that an over shield should be right there on this Map.

Post a comment below if you know what this is, or how to do it? I am really curious as to what happened. I was hoping that Bungie would have fixed all these problems, but some how, some way people still find ways to cheat in Halo.

I am going to try to upload the video of this guy regenerating his shilds at will, but in the meantime, let me know if you have any other info on this!

Thanks!

New Halo 3 Maps, New Halo Maps from Halo ODST

As most of you already know, Halo 3 has a new matchmaking game called Team Throwback. There are 3 new maps that you get off your copy of Halo ODST when you purchase it.

The 3 maps consists of 2 new maps and one old map from Halo 2 popularly known as Midship.

Here are Bungies descriptions of the new Halo 3 Maps in order from Left to Right:

You’ve laid eyes on Heretic before, both as “Midship” in Halo 2 and through the small looking glass we provided by way of one of the images on our Halo 3: ODST Product Page. But since today is Bungie Day, we figured you deserved a little bit more perspective. Here’s a sneak peak at Heretic, Citadel, and Longshore, three maps you’ll find packed into the Halo 3 multiplayer disc included with Halo 3: ODST. Click each image to make huge.

Longshore
Longshore lacks the commercial ships that once made it a lucrative port for Old Mombasa, but it still bustles with activity. Designed for large scale combat and well suited for smaller affairs, Longshore’s multitude of industrial buildings, elevated walks, and open inlets conspire to create a complex battleground tailored for multiple combat scenarios.

Heretic
Heretic returns players to familiar ground as the Halo 2 arena “Midship” makes its long-rumored debut in Halo 3. The stark interior of the Pious Inquisitor might appear austere on first glance, but Heretic’s symmetrical spaces require players to execute complex strategies in order to outplay their opponents.

Citadel
Citadel may be a long abandoned Forerunner stronghold, but its small, symmetrical confines are far from secure. Two opposing bases offer little safety for players looking for solace. Instead, Citadel forces small squads to stay in constant communication, keep their heads on a swivel, and be prepared to adjust combat tactics in close quarters.
